FAMMP runs a free, voluntary mentorship scheme for members. FAMMP has produced guidelines which have been developed to establish some ground rules, boundaries and useful tips to try and give mentoring relationships their best chances of providing successful outcomes for all parties.
The mentorship program aims to support developing geoscientists by:
- Increasing student and graduate membership and assist in the transition to professional membership.
- Promoting interaction between all members.
- Providing progressive communication to early career members.
- Encourage continued education and training.
The program is open to FAMMP Candidate members and FAMMP members.
